Another look at gas well site. The water/condensate tank on right, boiler/communation in center and another tank on the left. Investment consisting of constuction drill site, drilling well, fracture and bring into production, install surface equipment and pipeline to larger lines can cost from hundred of thousands to millions of dollars for one well. A lot of money needs to be spent before anything is realized. Also the well drilled may be a "dry Hole" with no production and a total lost of investment. Generally when production well are going in enough is know of the rock formation, depth to the gas zone etc. that there there aren't very many surprises. Still a lot of capitol is required to bring a well on line.
