This photo shows 2 natural gas well heads and a large rock standing above the snow in the middle. These gas & oil fields are South of Ouray, Utah. They run for miles and the well heads can be seen easily as the area is relatively flat with on a few hills. We in America are blessed with abundant oil and gas reserves. We would be able to be self sufficient in both of the natural resources by doing additional drilling and putting wells into production. We in America has the resources and techinology to be able to not have to depend on other country for our crude oil. Only draw backs are government regulations and eviormental concerns. Natural gas has to be transported to the market in pipeline. This area can produce much more gas than the pipelines can handle so production is limited to the capacity of the pipelines.
