Giant pumpkin seeds are starting to come up. Soon they will be ready to go into the pumpkin huts. We celebrated Dori's birthday, April 10th by planting pumpkins in the huts.

    Each seed is marked with a stick. The pot on the left is a seed that came from a 1040 lb pumpkin grew by Jack and Sherry LaRue. This seed eventually produced a 484 lb pumpkin for Dori. She named this plant "the Swan"
