Poppys are generally yellow to yellowish orange but they come in other colors also. Other colors can be seen in this picture as well as other flowers.

    California poppys are very hardy. We have them growing around our home in Vernal. They bloomed even after the frost, especially on the south side of the house. We have planted other colors but have not had much luck and mainly have the yellowish orange colors. Dori has planted other kinds of poppys around our home. She has a great variety of bueatiful flowers. She grows bueatiful orange giant pumpkins as well. This year was her 1st year growing giant pumpkins. She grew 3 and her largest was 524 lbs.
