The sagebrush in Castle Cove area are rather large denoting the good soil. This is a large sagebush along the side of the road leading from Dry Fork thru Castle cove and up over Pine Ridge and down into Deep Creek. The new growth on the ends of the sagebrush make good feed for the deer when other vegatation is covered up by snow. The seeds on the branch ends are high in food value.

  1. Fresh snow reflect the sunlight like many diamonds of the sagebrush, cedar and pine trees.
