A young doe Mule deer, proably 18 month old. The Mule deer is named because of the large ears that resemble a mule ear. They do not have the large tail that the White Tail deer does. Mule deer have a habit of watching with their ears toward you. If the ears change and move to the rear they are about to take off. This doe is use to seeing people and did not get excited when we drove by.
